BOJAGI is a Korean traditional wrapping cloth similar to the Western quilt. When I was young, I used to carry my books in these Bojagi that my mom had made from our outgrown traditional clothes and fabric. I would wrap the schoolbooks and carry them slung across my shoulders. I lived in the countryside at that time and many of us used these Bojagi to carry our books. My mother has since passed away and I have left my homeland, and by some mysterious twist of fate, I have begun to long for the Bojagi Bag. This triggered my desire to reexamine the world of Bojagi as a way of rediscovering memories of my mother and my childhood. - BOJAGI est un tissu d'emballage traditionnel coréen similaire à la courtepointe occidentale. Quand j'étais jeune, j'avais l'habitude de transporter mes livres dans ces Bojagi que ma mère avait fabriqués à partir de nos vêtements et tissus traditionnels devenus trop grands. J'emballais les manuels scolaires et les portais en bandoulière. J'habitais à la campagne à cette époque et beaucoup d'entre nous utilisions ces Bojagi pour transporter nos livres. Ma mère est décédée depuis et j'ai quitté ma patrie, et par un mystérieux coup du sort, j'ai commencé à regretter le sac Bojagi. Cela a déclenché mon envie de revisiter le monde de Bojagi comme moyen de redécouvrir les souvenirs de ma mère et de mon enfance.
